KOSCIUSZKO 2007 - DAY 1

We leave Canberra, the capital city of Australia in the morning and drive to Thredbo.

It is very early in the summer season and the resort is almost empty. We stay in Thredbo Alpine Hotel. After early dinner we stroll through the deserted streets and admire numerous sculptures scattered among the buildings.

We retire early to rest before the hike tomorrow.
