FEBRUARY 15

Today is a free day. We hire a car and a driver, collect a pack-lunch from the Moivaro's kitchen and drive to Arusha.

Our first stop is the Maasai Craft Market, where we bargain for ebony masks and plates.

During a quick stop at the main food market we are entertained by a future Miss Tanzania.

Our visit to Maasai Heritage Market starts with a ceremonial dance

At the Market we get a chance to visit a Maasai Village and learn about their way of living

The Market is full of beautiful wooden sculptures. Unfortunately they are rather large and very expensive.
